NIQUA® PINGUIN SILBER REVERSE scroll saw blades combine a double tooth design with integrated reverse teeth. This tooth configuration is designed to help reduce tear-out on the underside of the workpiece. With a blade length of 130 mm, they fit standard fret saw frames and many compatible scroll saws.

Application Recommendations

Before selecting a blade, NIQUA recommends considering the wood species, material thickness, preferred cut width and desired cutting speed. Blade sizes 2/0 to 3 are recommended for thin wood, while sizes from No. 4 upwards are recommended for thicker workpieces.

When using blades with reverse teeth, the table height should be adjusted according to the saw being used so that two to three teeth engage during the upward stroke.
