NIQUA® TOP CUT Scroll Saw Blades 130 mm – Every Third Tooth Is a Reverse Tooth

NIQUA® TOP CUT scroll saw blades are hardened blades for wood and plastic. Every third tooth is designed as a reverse tooth. This tooth geometry helps reduce tear-out on the underside of the workpiece and produces an exceptionally clean, polished-looking cut.

With a blade length of 130 mm, the blades fit standard fret saw frames and many compatible scroll saws. Unlike conventional reverse-tooth blades, TOP CUT does not require adjustment of the saw table height because every third tooth functions as a reverse tooth.

Application Recommendations

Before selecting a blade, NIQUA recommends considering the wood species, material thickness, preferred cut width and desired cutting speed. Blade sizes 2/0 to 3 are recommended for thin wood, while sizes from No. 4 upwards are recommended for thicker workpieces.

For cutting plastic, NIQUA recommends TOP CUT blades from size No. 5 upwards. The stroke rate and cutting speed should be reduced to prevent the plastic from rebonding.
